They say that others may understand your situation but may never feel for you. Sometimes things become easy if you’re talking with the people that are in the exact situation like yours. Thus, military and veterans oriented forums are built to be able to communicate with other combatants. These forums vary in themes and niches as well. More often than not, these places are also open for civilian members.
As a civilian, I can say that I understand and feel for our soldiers. But, I’ve never been into war or lose a father or brother from wars. With that, I can’t just say that I completely understand and feel for them. And I will never have the same feelings of hurt and fear of living in a world of war like them.
I would like to give a list of forums where military personnel can turn to at times they need a friend at the same time, encourage civilians to be involved as well. By the way, I’m already a member of few of these forums.
